SMILES

Alhamdulillah....
on the way back from class just now, received an SMS from Splendour Moments Wedding Decor of their availability on our wedding date and the price range is reaaalllyy affordable.
Seriously, I can't remember when i contacted them...
so...the moment i got home..i logged on to look at their website and portfolio..
Well, its not that impressive but for that price range, i can't expect much and it is actually really good. (its difficult to get that price range of 1.6K - 2.2K for that kind of detailed work and good theme coordination they provide)
though they don't have much flexibility in orignality (so ends up..couples engaging their service will have same decor...as what is seen in their portfolio..BUT...i'm sure with my ideas and DIY resources...i'm sure we could work something out)

COS......my priority is SIMPLE but ORIGINAL...it needs to reflect me...
I need to add in my own personal touch...
doesn't matter if I'll tire myself out but this is what I want...:)

so I guess...I'll be engaging them... AND doing more research for my DIY pelamin plan?...:)

Colour wheel

focus....focus...focus....
step 1: where is my colour wheel?
Step 2: intial chosen colour = green + pink
Step 3: decide main colour = green (although i love pink..pink is out cos Abi doesnt like it)
Step 4: eliminate distraction
Step 5: additional shades of pink and green (white will obviously be there...and orange to accentuate and blend)

 Step 6: sample

Now...the final question is....this range of colour will suit most skintone right?
Kak Ayin...hope this helps....let's work around these colours?how about that?

Shades Shades Shades

ok...this is getting a little frustrating...
i gotta get the right shade of colour to match...
main colour: white,green,pink
but can't seem to get the right shade to match it perfectly..
not just to match the 3 colours but it needs to complement my skintone too...
:(
pening...

Spring Colours

Popular spring colours...

Spring Wedding

Had been super busy with work and hari raya celebrations that i have put off my wedding preparation.
It may seem quite early to start the preparation (or so i think)..(well i have a year) BUT...i foresee things will get hectic later on with work, study (starting in October, with assigments, projects and all..OMG) and Abi won't be around to help out or give ideas.

So....i SHOULD start deciding some thing now...NOW.

But its not that simple...we have not even decided  on the theme and colour scheme yet. Surveying online only makes things worst...simply can't decide!!! haha....

I need to focus!!!

OK....we will still stick to "simplicity" for the reception in Singapore and i have initially decided to go with the "garden theme". However, it seems that it is a common theme...so how about if i change it to SPRING THEME. (memories of sprintime in Japan and cherry blossoms...weeee~!!!)

What do u think Abi? (ok.ok.i won't change my mind anymore...hehe)

and...should we go with a similar theme in KL or choose a totally different theme for contrast??

Singapore Garden Festival

Yesterday's school outing to Singapore Garden Festival was a feast to my eyes.
Beautiful flowers, cleverly designed gardens.
It'll be so cool if I could DIY my pelamin like that.
Using nature and everyday materials.

Simple and different.

I am inspired.

has anyone DIY their pelamins?

Wedding Theme : "Simplicity"

browsed through future sis-in-law's wedding photos.
fell in love with the pelamin and colour theme of the baju, deco and everything. subtle, simple.
talked to fiance about it...and we have decided...our theme for the wedding will be...

"Simplicity"

everything..from the pelamin, deco, baju, make up..to the wedding invitation cards...everything will be simple design. simple yet elegant. (...it seems like fiance and I have much things in common so...no disagreement..yeay~! thank you dear.)
and good news!!! Kak Ayin (future sis-in law..hehe) agreed to be our wedding planner (for the reception in KL)...YEAY~!!! thank you so much sis.
